At the WWE WrestleMania 40 Press Conference, Roman Reigns addressed a comment from commentary regarding his current health status.
During the big main event match on night one of WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns teamed with The Rock to take on Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.
Pat McAfee on commentary during the match said that Roman Reigns was ‘battling Leukemia as we speak’.
When asked about that during the press conference, Reigns said that he is on oral chemotherapy medication and potentially will be for the rest of his life.
He confirmed that he is still in remission, but it’s still something he has to deal with and that will continue to be the case.
Elsewhere in the press conference appearance, Roman Reigns spoke about having utilized the pandemic era of WWE to tell more complex storylines that continue to this day.
Later when The Rock appeared in the post-WrestleMania 40 press conference, he confirmed that WrestleMania night two will indeed have surprises, but of course didn’t say what they’ll be.
