Roman Reigns Reflects On Hitting Seth Rollins With Chair At WWE WrestleMania 40 WWE

Former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has reflected on hitting Seth Rollins with a chair at WrestleMania 40.

At WrestleMania XL Night Two, Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event.

Before Cody’s win, Reigns took a swing with a steel chair on Seth Rollins, who was wearing his old Shield attire, instead of finishing off Rhodes.

Many fans and commentary speculated that this choice cost Roman his gold, ending his legendary 1316 day reign.

In a new interview with Jimmy Traina on SI Media podcast, Roman Reigns reflected on hitting Seth Rollins with a chair at WrestleMania 40. He said:

“Anytime I have a chance to f**k him up I’m gonna take it. That’s how I feel about him, any time I get a chance to pull the trigger on him I’m going to.

“He’s a constant reminder and a lesson to myself on who to trust and how to trust them, and if you can’t, how to keep them, and that’s where I like to keep him, at a chair length’s away.”
