Roman Reigns Reaches Two Years As Universal Champion WWE

The Tribal Chief, the Head of the Table, Roman Reigns has been residing at the top of the WWE mountain for a long time now.

Reigns made his return to the company back at SummerSlam in 2020 after The Fiend Bray Wyatt’s Universal Championship victory over Braun Strowman, where he laid both men out.

The following week, Reigns was the champion, defeating both men in a Triple Threat match at WWE Payback on August 30, 2020.

Well, for you calendar enthusiasts out there, you will notice that today is August 30, 2022, meaning that Roman has now reignsed as the Universal Champion for two straight years.

Reigns is set to do battle against Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Clash at the Castle in Cardiff this weekend, with WWE reportedly considering taking the title off of Reigns for the first time ‘in a while’.

WWE is set to celebrate two years of Roman Reigns’ title reign on this week’s episode of SmackDown, which was taped following last week’s show.
