Roman Reigns Closing In On Insane WWE Milestone WWE

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is closing in on an insane WWE milestone.

There is no disputing that Roman Reigns has proven himself as ‘the guy’ over the last year. The Tribal Chief has been WWE’s sole World Champion since unifying the WWE and Universal titles after defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 in April.

Reigns has actually been a top champion since August 2020, when he won the Universal Championship. With Reigns’ dominant run, it’s easy to forget when the Tribal Chief was last pinned in a match.

Reigns was last defeated via pinfall at the 2019 TLC premium live event. The top star was pinned by Baron Corbin in a Tables Ladders & Chairs match, following interference from Dolph Ziggler and The Revival (now FTR).

The event took place on December 15, 2019, meaning that Roman Reigns is just over one month away from going three years without suffering a pinfall loss.

Reigns has lost other matches since, with his most recent singles defeat coming at the hands of Seth Rollins at Royal Rumble in January, with Reigns losing via disqualification after refusing to release Rollins from his submission hold.

Reigns will next defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Logan Paul at Crown Jewel on November 5. Check out the updated card for this weekend’s premium live event right here.
