Roman Reigns made the decision to return to WWE early, not Vince McMahon, reports Fightful.
Sean Ross Sapp is reporting that Vince McMahon was the first person in WWE that Roman told he was in remission following successful treatment for Leukaemia, something he announced on last night’s episode of Raw.
He also reports that the decision to come back so quickly was entirely Roman’s, and not something forced upon him by anyone at WWE.
Roman’s appearance on last night’s episode of Raw was a wonderful moment for him and the fans, who were cheering for him more than they have ever done during his time in the company.
It isn’t yet clear how much of a role he will play in the coming weeks, but his involvement in last night’s brawl suggests that he is at the very least able to wrestle short matches. Whether he’ll have a WrestleMania programme or not, we’ll just have to wait and see.
