Roman Reigns Hits Another Massive WWE Milestone

Roman Reigns Hits Another Massive WWE Milestone WWE

Having successfully defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Title at Crown Jewel against Logan Paul, Roman Reigns has hit another massive WWE milestone.

Roman Reigns has spent 800 straight days as the WWE Universal Champion.

The Head of the Table has held the title since August 30, 2022, when he defeated the reigning champion, Bray Wyatt, and Braun Strowman during a No Holds Barred Triple Threat Match at WWE Payback.

The title was unified with the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 38 in April.

Reigns has successfully defended it against a long list of names, which includes Brock Lesnar (on multiple occasions), Drew McIntyre and of course, most recently Logan Paul.

The Tribal Chief adds this latest milestone to his list of accomplishments.

Reigns is a six-time world champion in WWE and became the longest-reigning Universal Champion in 2022 when he exceeded the 788-day mark.

Roman has exceeded the title reigns of Randy Savage, John Cena and CM Punk.

Although he still has a way to go if he wishes to become the longest-reigning WWE Champion of all time as he currently ranks at number 6.

Bruno Sammartino currently holds the longest title reign at 2,803 days, which seems unbelievable in modern pro-wrestling terms.

Recently it was reported that WWE still plans for Roman Reigns to defend the title until WrestleMania 39 in a dream match-up against Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

Both Lance Anoa’i and Paul Heyman have teased this spot.

Time will tell who Reigns’ next opponent will be as the WWE locker room looks to dethrone the Head of the Table.
