Roman Reigns Reacts To CM Punk WWE Survivor Series 2024 Meme WWE

Roman Reigns has reacted to a meme of he and WarGames teammate CM Punk at WWE Survivor Series 2024.

The OTC and Best in the World were unlikely allies at WWE’s final main roster PLE of 2024, with Paul Heyman bringing Punk in as a last minute fifth man for the OG Bloodline’s team at WarGames.

Although CM Punk and Roman Reigns would shake hands and settle their differences by the time they defeated Solo Sikoa’s New Bloodline, tensions were certainly riding high well before this point.

Several tense exchanges between Punk and Reigns ended up going viral after Survivor Series, one of which was the moment that The OTC prevented Punk from entering the match, instead instructing Sami Zayn to go in his place.

The still image of this moment was recently used for a meme posted by the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers after they defeated the Cleveland Browns 27-14 on Sunday (December 8).

As can be seen down below, the Steelers tweaked the image pasting their logo onto Reigns and the Browns’ logo onto Punk, along with a play on Reigns’ catchphrase, writing “Acknowledge Us”.

This post would not go unnoticed by Reigns, however, being a fan of the San Francisco 49ers, he didn’t quite approve of the Steelers’ message.

Reigns wrote via Twitter:

Niner gang!

Reigns didn’t appear on this past week’s SmackDown (December 6), with Solo Sikoa re-asserting his position as the Tribal Chief by taking out LA Knight and Andrade.

Meanwhile Punk appeared on Raw and found himself in a physical altercation with bitter rival Seth Rollins.

Unseen footage of inside the WarGames shark cages was recently released by WWE – click here for full details.
