Roman Reigns Returns For Altercation With The Bloodline On WWE SmackDown WWE

Roman Reigns returned to WWE SmackDown tonight and things got physical with the new Bloodline led by Solo Sikoa.

In the main event segment, Solo Sikoa – flanked by Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa – would make a ring entrance ahead of a commercial break. After the break, Sikoa had a microphone ready to address the crowd.

After Solo Sikoa hit the ring, he informed Roman Reigns that Sikoa was the new Tribal Chief and if Reigns wanted the ceremonial Ula Fala back from him, he needed to come take it.

Reigns spared no time as he made his entrance with an updated theme song and entrance graphics proclaiming Reigns as the ‘OTC’ – the Original Tribal Chief.

While Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa would attempt to fend off Reigns from Sikoa, they would quickly fall as Reigns took out the pair and stared at Sikoa.

After being in the ring together briefly, a physical fracas kicked off as Reigns hit a Superman Punch on Solo before Tonga Loa was able to pull Solo out of the ring before Reigns caught him with a Spear.

In the corner of the ring, the red Ula Fala was left behind as Roman Reigns picked it up, however he would be jumped from behind by Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.

The Ula Fala was then returned to Solo Sikoa, who watched on as Reigns yet again took out both Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.

The brawl included Reigns doing his own run-around-the-ring move as he took off in a run ahead of a big spear on Tama Tonga through the barricade before he would bring a steel chair to the ring to continue a beat down on Tonga Loa.

The crowd was jubilant about Reigns’ return, already chanting “OTC!” during the segment, his first appearance on SmackDown since before WrestleMania.

Sikoa made off up the stage with the Ula Fala still in his possession, but Roman Reigns has been confirmed as appearing on next week’s SmackDown as well.

Jacob Fatu was notably absent from tonight’s show, with Corey Graves on commentary citing an injury suffered at SummerSlam.
