Roman Reigns Returns On WWE Raw At Madison Square Garden

Roman Reigns made his return to WWE during tonight’s March 10 episode of Raw at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Tonight’s show was headlined by the steel cage match between CM Punk and Seth Rollins.

One of the big plot points in the Punk/Rollins rivalry came at the Royal Rumble, when Punk eliminated Rollins from the Rumble match.

Punk also eliminated Reigns from the Rumble, and when Punk was then eliminated by Logan Paul, it led to a three-way brawl at ringside between all three of Rollins, Punk and Reigns.

During that brawl, Rollins landed two curb stomps on Reigns, which wrote him off TV… until tonight.

Reigns made his return tonight during the Rollins vs Punk cage match, dragging Rollins out of the cage through the door.

This meant that Rollins technically won the match via escape, but Reigns attacked him at ringside and gave him a curb stomp of his own.

Back in the cage, Reigns’ “wise man” Paul Heyman was in the ring, seemingly making sure his close personal friend CM Punk was okay.

Reigns then got in the cage and speared Punk as Heyman watched on, horrified and not knowing what to make of the situation.

The show ended with Rollins down at ringside and Punk down in the ring as Reigns stood tall.

The idea since the Royal Rumble has seemed to be a three-way match at WWE WrestleMania 41, and it certainly still feels like that’ll be the case based on tonight.

It’s worth remembering too that Heyman still owes Punk “a favor” from when Punk agreed to team with Reigns at Survivor Series in November.
