Roman Reigns Reveals Dream WrestleMania 36 Opponent

Three-time WWE Champion Roman Reigns has revealed that he wants to face Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36.

It was confirmed on March 7 that WrestleMania 36 would be taking place in Tampa, Florida next year, and when asked who he’d like to face and where on the card, Reigns replied:

“I think I’d like to close the show, and I think I think I’d like to wrestle Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship. I think I’d like to get my rematch one year from now.”

Reigns of course returned to Raw on February 25 for the first time since he announced his leukemia diagnosis and relinquished the Universal Title on October 22 of last year. On his return, he announced the excellent news that he was in remission.

Last week, Reigns reunited the Shield with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, and the trio will compete in a six-man tag team match against Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley at Fastlane on Sunday.

Rollins is set to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35 on April 7 this year for the Universal Championship, having won the Royal Rumble match this past January.

The ‘Big Dog’ was also asked if he considers himself as the new face of WWE now John Cena is only working on a part-time basis:

“I’ve always looked at myself as the face of WWE whether John’s there or not. I feel like I’m far more attractive and I have a better-looking face than John, so I’ve always looked at myself in that regard. But I also think, and John and I think, and any other superstar in WWE can tell you, I think there’s a lot of faces to WWE. I think that’s what makes our product and our brand of entertainment so compelling, is we’re not all the same.

“I think if everybody looks at themselves as the face of WWE, then WWE can’t go wrong.”
