Roman Reigns vs. Baron Corbin Announced For WWE TLC

WWE has announced that at their Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay per view, Roman Reigns will face Baron Corbin in a TLC match. As of now, the TLC match will be of the one fall variety, as opposed to having the participants retrieving something hanging above the ring. Nothing currently is on the line.

The two have been feuding on SmackDown as of late. “King” Corbin has gone out of his way to mock Reigns. Corbin engaged in a horrendous segment with a dog mascot mocking Reigns’ “Big Dog” monicker.

Corbin and Reigns did not get along when they represented SmackDown at Survivor Series. Reigns ultimately allowed Corbin to get pinned in the 5 vs. 5 vs. 5 match before winning the match by eliminating Keith Lee. Reigns was the sole survivor of his team.

This will be the first time that Corbin and Reigns will have faced one another in a singles match on pay per view. The two have had short feuds in the past. One of which saw Reigns defend the WWE Universal Championship against Corbin on Raw in 2018.

Reigns and Corbin were rumoured to be having a dog collar match at the event, however it appears that those rumours were unfounded. This is the only match announced for the pay per view to date,
