Roman Reigns has been crowned the winner of the 2026 men’s WWE Royal Rumble match at today’s January 31 premium live event.
After Liv Morgan won the women’s Rumble to kick off the show, it was the men’s Rumble match that closed the PLE.
The final seven came down to Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, GUNTHER, Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, Jey Uso and Logan Paul.
The first of those to be eliminated was Rhodes, who was Claymored out by Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, who wasn’t even in the match.
Reigns then took advantage of a distracted Fatu to eliminated Fatu before also eliminating Jey Uso.
That left the final four of Reigns, GUNTHER, Paul and Orton.
They paired off and Reigns eliminated Paul while GUNTHER eliminated Orton to bring things down to the final two.
With things down to Reigns and GUNTHER, it was Reigns who managed to throw the Austrian out to win his second Rumble after previously winning the match back in 2015.
GUNTHER had already defeated AJ Styles in a singles match earlier in the night, forcing Styles to retire.
The win means will challenge for either the Undisputed WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42 in April.
The current holders of those titles are Drew McIntyre and CM Punk respectively, but that could of course change by the time we get to Mania.
