WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns has hit yet another major milestone, ahead of some huge title matches.
While Roman Reigns has claimed to be ‘the guy’ for years, The Tribal Chief has been WWE’s sole World Champion since defeating Brock Lesnar in the WWE and Universal title ‘Winner Takes All’ match at WrestleMania 38 in April 2022.
This is when WWE started to recognise Reigns as the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion, but Reigns had already had a lengthy Universal Title reign ahead of the championship unification.
Reigns won the Universal Championship in a triple threat match against Braun Strowman and champion The Fiend at Payback in August 2020.
On February 16, The Tribal Chief hit 900 days as Universal Champion.
There has been a lot of speculation that WWE will soon separate the WWE and Universal Championship, following previous reports that WWE originally wanted two world champions heading into WrestleMania 39.
At this April’s event, Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes will challenge for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.
Ahead of then, Reigns will defend the gold against Sami Zayn at Elimination Chamber this Saturday.
A big rumor killer has emerged on Sami Zayn ahead of his title bout, which you can read about right here.
