Roman Reigns Addresses Hollywood Plans After WWE Retirement Comments WWE

Roman Reigns has addressed his post-WWE retirement plans, which could very well include a move to Hollywood.

With his WWE contract set to expire after WrestleMania 42 in 2025, Roman Reigns has revealed he plans to wrestle for another one or two years after that.

Reigns would go on to say that he wants to pursue a “less physical form of entertainment” after his retirement.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, The Tribal Chief would reveal that he receives a lot of scripts, though he remains committed to WWE, saying that has precluded him from accepting many roles.

When it comes to his post-retirement plans, however, Roman Reigns revealed a plan to accept roles selectively, saying:

“I almost want to model it after Tarantino, where we’re not just doing anything and everything.

“I want to really plot out: I want this one, I want that one.”

Reigns isn’t a stranger to the big screen, having had a small part in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, portraying Mateo Hobbs alongside The Rock’s titular character.

He is set to star in the Amazon MGM Studios movie The Pickup, starring Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson in an as-yet-undisclosed role.

Addressing the upcoming role, the movie’s director, Tim Story, praised Roman Reigns for his charisma and potential, stating:

“He probably shows as much charisma that I’ve ever seen from a celebrity or nonactor.

“I think his future in front of the camera will be ridiculous.”

Roman Reigns heads to WrestleMania 41 on April 19, in a Triple Threat match against CM Punk and Seth Rollins.

Triple H has recently revealed the logic behind having a Triple Threat match between all three men as opposed to singles matches.
