WWE has shared more footage following Roman Reigns’ return to SmackDown during this week’s (August 9) post-SummerSlam episode.
After months away from WWE TV, Reigns made a surprise return at SummerSlam to attack Solo Sikoa, costing his cousin his Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes.
Reigns made his SmackDown comeback on Friday’s show, confronting Sikoa and the rest of the new Bloodline.
After dropping Solo Sikoa with a Superman Punch, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa pulled Sikoa out of the ring to save their Tribal Chief.
Roman Reigns then fought back against Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, taking them out to stand tall.
The show went off the air with Solo Sikoa standing on the ramp, watching Roman Reigns in the ring, following the beatdown.
WWE has now shared an exclusive video showing what happened with Roman Reigns immediately after the live broadcast ended.
In the video, which you can watch below, Roman Reigns leaves the arena, while soaking in the crowd, who are acknowledging him.
Roman Reigns hasn’t wrestled since dropping his Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 in April.
Rhodes’ title challenger for the August 31 Bash In Berlin premium live event has been confirmed, which you can read more about right here.
