Roman Reigns Opens Up About What He Misses In WWE WWE

Roman Reigns has featured less frequently on WWE television over the past few years and has opened up about what he misses.

Last seen in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match on February 1, Reigns had his first solo match since WrestleMania 40 in April 2024 at the WWE Raw on Netflix premiere on January 6, 2025.

With the WWE Royal Rumble seeing Roman Reigns attacked by Seth Rollins, it was recently reported that the injury angle is a way to write the OTC off television for the time being.

During a recent appearance on the No Contest Wrestling podcast, Reigns was asked what he misses from his early days in WWE where he was on the road regularly, responding:

“I mostly miss being in the locker room. I miss the camaraderie, that bond with the boys. But I had to grow up, you know?

“It was time to choose—either be a superstar or be one of the boys, and I picked business.”

In May 2022, Reigns signed a WWE contract that would include fewer dates as part of the deal, allowing him to focus his attention on his family and other interests.

Speaking about his locker room presence, Reigns would say that he would like to spend more time guiding others on the WWE roster, but noted:

“I’m not mad where I’m at now; I like my system, I like my process. But if I could just be in that locker room a little bit more, I probably would.”

It was recently reported that the current plan for Reigns is a Triple Threat match against Seth Rollins and CM Punk at WrestleMania 41 in April 2025.

Reigns also teased the possibility of challenging for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship during his appearance on No Contest Wrestling.
