Ronda Rousey Spotted In Bizarre Conversation With AEW Star WWE

A ‘candid’ backstage conversation between Ronda Rousey and AEW’s Marina Shafir at ROH has shone a light on their friendship.

Ronda Rousey made her ROH debut at the tapings on November 17, with the episode now having been streamed on ROH on HonorClub.

As recently reported, Rousey’s debut sees her with new entrance music as she teamed with Marina Shafir to take on Athena and Billie Starkz.

The Ring of Honor Twitter account shared a ‘candid’ moment between the pair backstage which can be seen below.

In the clip, the following exchange takes place between the two friends:

Rousey: “Marina, as your best friend, I want you to have so much fun doing this and I came here to personally make sure that you have a really good time. And, you just keep having a good time without me here, even though it’s not going to be as much of a good time because I’m your f**king best friend. And, I totally swore, sorry guys. It’s okay, you just get used to having not as good of a time as you normally would when I’m around but still have a good time, because I want that for you.

Shafir: “Yeah, I know. It’s a dark cloud that I’m going to have to carry over my head for a little while now.

Rousey: “Dude, you escaped communism, man. You’re in America.”

Shafir: “I did. I escaped communism! Put the shield down and have some fun.”

The pair end by talking over each other before Shafir asks the cameraperson:

“Is that good?”

They then head off away from the camera position embracing each other.

It was previously reported that Rousey’s debut in ROH was with the hope that she would increase business for the streaming service.
