Ronda Rousey Comments On Current WWE Contract Status

UFC Hall of Famer and former Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey has commented on her current contract status with WWE.

Rousey has been absent from WWE since she dropped the Raw Women’s Title in the main event of WrestleMania 35 in April 2019.

WWE had reportedly been hoping for a Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey singles match, but babies have stopped that from happening thus far.

‘Is Rousey still under contract?’, I hear you ask. Well… apparently she doesn’t even know herself. Speaking on a Facebook stream, she said:

“I don’t think I am. But who knows? That’s a question for the lawyers.”

She went on to add that she stays in contact with Stephanie McMahon, saying:

“I actually keep in touch with Steph because she’s sweet and we send each other baby pictures. I haven’t talked to Triple H since before he had his – he had like a heart surgery or something. Hope he’s doing all right.”

Triple H had a ‘cardiac event’ in September, but he’s back on is feet and is said to be doing great now.

WWE President Nick Khan said earlier this year that Rousey would definitely be returning to WWE at some point.
