Ronda Rousey has become a controversial figure in wrestling due to her views on WWE’s fans. Now, she has spoken up against the fans’ chants of “we want Wyatt” on Raw last night.
Rousey tweeted earlier today that fans were “ungrateful idiots” for previously chanting for beach balls during Wyatt’s matches. She said:
“I’ve seen you same ‘fans’ chanting #WeWantWyatt last night chanting ‘We want beach balls’ over @WWEBrayWyatt performing. If the @wwe treated him like he was expendable it was because you ungrateful idiots did first”
This is, of course, a massive sweeping statement. It is worth noting that the fans in attendance last night in Chicago are almost certainly not the same fans as whichever crowd Ronda Rousey is talking about.
Bray Wyatt was released by WWE on July 31, 2021. This week’s episode of Raw was the first WWE event since the release and fans expressed their frustrations with the company over the release.
