A big SmackDown Women’s Championship match has now been made official for the upcoming WWE Extreme Rules premium live event in Philadelphia next month.
The challenger for Liv Morgan was crowned on tonight’s show, when Ronda Rousey, Sonya Deville, Natalya, Xia Li and a returning Lacey Evans took part in an elimination five-way match to determine the next challenger.
Ronda made quick work of Natalya in the match, tapping her out to an armbar.
The next to be eliminated were Xia Li and Lacey Evans, who tapped out to Deville and Rousey, respectively.
Finally, Rousey submitted Deville with an ankle lock, winning her the match and a shot at Liv Morgan’s championship at Extreme Rules.
