Following the change in WWE regime, numerous WWE stars that were previously not being featured, or even not employed by WWE, have found themselves with new roles on the show.
There are still some talents that have yet to find their footing on the show since Triple H took over creative, and one of those names is WWE Raw star Mustafa Ali, who made his return to WWE television back in May after previously being denied his request for a release from the company.
Ali was given spotlight against United States Champion Bobby Lashley on the October 3 episode of Monday Night Raw, earning the respect of Lashley and the WWE fans before he was wiped out by Seth Rollins after the match in his quest to take the title from Lashley.
Another person who Ali earned the respect of is former SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, who was asked about Ali during a recent YouTube stream, to which she praised the Raw star as ‘amazingly talented’, and his use of one specific wrestling move.
She said:
“I think he is amazingly talented, like he athletically comes up with some amazing sequences and stuff like that. I think he is super cool. He has some awesome arm drags. I’m not usually tempted like ‘Ooh an arm drag’ but like I can arm drag, I’ll tell you what.”
Ronda Rousey is set to take on Liv Morgan in an Extreme Rules match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at the Extreme Rules premium live event tomorrow night.
