A former SmackDown Women’s Champion has now been pulled from the WWE Raw 30th Anniversary taping.
The WWE Raw special will emanate from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA on January 23.
One star who is not expected to be in action on this date is Ronda Rousey, who WWE is now no longer advertising for the taping.
Rousey notably dropped the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair on the December 30 edition of SmackDown, the last episode of 2022.
On several occasions, Rousey has noted that she’s not interested in chasing Flair for the title, noting that she’d prefer to work as a tag-team long term alongside Shayna Baszler.
The former UFC star also recently addressed all the recent backstage WWE changes, noting the following on a recent YouTube livestream:
“If you haven’t noticed, everything’s a little bit in flux with the WWE right now. I don’t think anybody knows what’s going on with anybody this week, let alone weeks from now.”
Rousey said this after Vince McMahon returned to the WWE board of directors, but before Stephanie McMahon announced her resignation.
