We have a new SmackDown Women’s Champion on tonight’s (May 8) WrestleMania Backlash show, and her name is ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey.
Ronda and former champion Charlotte Flair did battle in a brutal I Quit match on the show, which saw Ronda make Flair quit following an armbar using a steel chair.
This marks Rousey’s first reign as the SmackDown Women’s Champion, following her Raw Women’s Championship reign in 2018.
