Ronda Rousey Suffers Minor Injury Ahead Of WrestleMania 38 WWE

WWE star Ronda Rousey has revealed she has suffered a minor, but still very unpleasant sounding injury to her mouth.

Speaking during a Facebook Gaming Stream, Rousey revealed she had managed to tear her labial frenulum, which is the small piece of tissue which connects your gum to your upper lip. Ouch.

She also mentioned during the stream that she had been feeling very unwell due to exhaustion. She said:

“Oh, I’m totally fantastic, fine. I tore my labial frenulum apparently, which is that little piece of skin that connects your lip to your jaw or whatever, my top jaw. I’m like so sick and not feeling good right now. Sorry guys if I sound like crap. I’ve literally sounded like this all day.”

She also added her daughter La’akea Makalapuaokalanipo Browne, or as she calls her, Po, was sleeping very badly during a recent flight, so she’s feeling more tired than usual.

“So tired, Po was so fussy on the plane on the way back and just, you know, SmackDown was a very physical day. I’m sore, I’m sick, I’m tired.”

Thankfully, the injury and the tiredness isn’t expected to impact her upcoming WrestleMania match with Charlotte Flair, which is set to be one of the biggest matches of Night One.
