Current SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey made her WWE debut back at WrestleMania 34 in 2018, and quickly took to wrestling like a duck to water.
The night after Rousey’s in-ring debut, former Diva’s Champion Paige announced her retirement from in-ring competition, with her just passing Ronda during their respective careers.
If it was up to Ronda however, the match will happen one day, as Ronda was asked about who her dream opponent is on a Facebook Live Stream, to which she quickly replied:
I wish I could wrestle Paige. That’d be fun.
Paige herself recently teased a potential return to the ring, including as a manager for Rousey herself.
Rousey captured the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania Backlash, and most recently defeated Raquel Rodriguez on SmackDown. For a full record of the win/loss records for the WWE women’s division in 2022, click here.
