An update has emerged on WWE apaprently being interested in working with Ronda Rousey again some time in the future.
Rousey left WWE after SummerSlam 2023, losing against Shayna Baszler. Baszler was just released this past weekend.
Since her departure, Rousey hasn’t held back in her criticisms of WWE and the environment backstage when she was working there.
However, there reportedly remains interest from the company in working with Rousey again.
On Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez said:
“WWE does still want to do something with Ronda Rousey. Shayna Baszler obviously retired Ronda Rousey, or at least her last match in WWE. So I could not say that there’s no chance we’ll never see Shayna Baszler again.
“I cannot say we’ll never see Shayna again because if WWE makes a deal with Ronda and Ronda wants Shayna back, she’ll be back.”
Baszler did share a comment after her release, which you can see at this link.
