Ronda Rousey’s April Fools Joke Had WWE Fans Worried

Ronda Rousey has become somewhat of an internet troll since her heel turn. She has seemingly broken kayfabe on multiple occasions on her ‘Ronda on the Road’ YouTube series, and her latest video which turned out to be an April Fools Day Prank, had WWE fans momentarily worried.

The video starts with Ronda confirming rumours that after WrestleMania 35, she is done with WWE. Her husband, UFC star Travis Browne said he loved Ronda and was excited to join her in entering this new phase of her life.

Ronda said she has conquered the world’s of UFC and WWE, and it was now time to take the “world of jazz by storm”. She would then unveil a saxophone and begin playing.

The video features Ronda playing the instrument backstage at WWE events, with wrestlers such as Samoa Joe, Alexa Bliss and The Revival applauding the Raw Women’s Champion for her musical ability.

Rousey then told fans to “stay out of her sax life”. This was a clear gag at the fact that fans have been speculating for the last six months if the UFC Hall of Famer is leaving WWE after WrestleMania 35 to start a family.

Remember today is April Fools Day, so Ronda likely won’t be leaving WWE to become a professional musician, but the video is damn entertaining nonetheless.

Ronda Rousey is set to defend her Raw Women’s Championship in the historic main event of WrestleMania against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in just six days.
