It was reported earlier this week Ronda Rousey could be headed back to WWE in the near future. If she is planning on coming back, she will need to do so fairly quickly.
According to a report from PWInsider, Rousey’s contract is set to expire in about 6 months. PWInsider is referencing a statement Rousey made during a TMZ interview.
In that statement made way back in January 2019, Rousey revealed her original contract end date is April 21, 2019. Of course, WWE has been known to add extensions to contracts when it seems convenient.
Rousey last appeared in her match with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 35. Rousey walked away from wrestling to start a family.
To this point, Rousey has made no announcements regarding pregnancy. However, she has made several headlines for her recent posts on social media where she’s been sighted training in a wrestling ring.
That may be her preferred location for getting in shape or she could be planting seeds for her return. Would you like to see Rousey back in WWE? Could she be a surprise draft pick on Friday night?
Coming back around this time would allow her to have one last run towards WrestleMania before her contract runs out.
