WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez has responded to former NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer’s reaction to her comments.

Since the announcement of Stephanie Vaquer’s signing with WWE, NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez has been mentioning her on the company’s programming. As the face of the NXT women’s division, Perez has made it known that she will not let any new talent take her spot at the top of the brand.

Vaquer recently reacted to Perez’s comments in a social media post. Posting a photo of how she looks when she hears Roxanne, the former CMLL star wrote:

This is my face every time @roxanne_wwe needs to mention my name…..

In response to Vaquer, Roxanne Perez took to social media to let her know that she hears her. She wrote:

Perez last wrestled in a win over Thea Hail to retain the NXT Women’s Championship on the July 30 WWE NXT Great American Bash Night 1 special on SyFy which took place last week, with night two happening tonight.
