With his WWE debut in the history books, Royce Keys has commented after making his presence felt in the Royal Rumble.
Known to AEW fans as Powerhouse Hobbs, that name appeared momentarily on the Titantron screen before being replaced with his new persona of Royce Keys at the January 31 WWE Premium Live Event.
Keys was able to eliminate Damian Priest, before locking up with fellow former AEW star Cody Rhodes only to be later eliminated by the group effort of The Vision.
The new WWE star has now commented on his Royal Rumble debut via Twitter, sharing a photo from his entrance along with a message that reads:
“Aight then
“#RoyalRumble”
That phrase would reappear in a further Tweet, with Keys sharing his first official WWE merchandise drop, along with the message on Twitter:
“Aight Then!
“Now go buy the shirt. @WWEShop”
With the official product description from WWE Shop stating that Keys “about to take what he believes he’s owed without hesitation”, the star’s Twitter bio may give further indication of the type of man he is, stating:
“I DON’T NEED YOUR VALIDATION”
Following his WWE debut, a number of AEW stars reacted to the Royal Rumble appearance of the former Powerhouse Hobbs.
