WrestleTalk have an update on the injury sustained by Ruby Riott over the weekend. As reported, the grievance to her left knee occurred on a live event in an outing against Dana Brooke, and as a result the promising talent was withdrawn from Raw on Monday evening.
Having undergone an MRI on the limb, it has been confirmed that the leader of the Riott Squad suffered an MCL sprain and the initial diagnosis was that the star would be on the shelf for between 4 – 6 weeks. Of course, depending on how well the recovery goes and the amount of pain she experiences, that could easily stretch to two months.

It’s unfortunate timing for the ‘Punk princess’ who has greatly improved since being called up from NXT. She was beginning to create a path in the Raw women’s division and bigwigs had taken a keen interest in her look and style. There was even talk of giving her a major push towards the WWE Raw Women’s Championship which will continue once she returns.
WrestleTalk wishes Ruby a speedy recovery.
