Ruby Soho To Undergo Surgery On Broken Nose

Ruby Soho To Undergo Surgery On Broken Nose AEW

AEW star Ruby Soho has confirmed that she will soon undergo surgery after suffering a broken nose.

During the All Out Zero Hour pre-show, Soho teamed with Ortiz to challenge for Tay Melo & Sammy Guevara’s AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship.

In the closing moments of the bout, Soho suffered a nose injury after receiving Melo’s signature Tay-KO kick.

Soho hasn’t wrestled since this bout, but was scheduled to compete on October 1 during the 1PW A New Twist Of Fate UK independent show.

The promotion has now shared a video from Soho, confirming that she will not be able to compete at the event, as she’s set to have surgery to fix her broken nose and ‘mess of a septum’.

Soho noted that she’s hopeful that she will make her 1PW debut at the promotion’s February 18, 2023 show. It is unclear how long Soho is expected to be out of action for.

AEW’s women’s division was shaken up during Dynamite: Grand Slam, with former WWE Diva’s Champion Saraya (Paige) making her shock debut for the promotion.

While Saraya’s in-ring status hasn’t been confirmed, there have been several clues indicating that the popular star will make her wrestling return while with AEW.
