There was a rule change confirmed ahead of tonight’s WWE Royal Rumble 2025 as the women’s edition of the match kicked off the show.
While Alicia Taylor was making the announcement regarding the beginning of the women’s WWE Royal Rumble 2025 match, she noted a rule change.
Stating that ‘every two minutes’ a new competitor would enter the match, that varies from previous years where the distance between entrants was 90 seconds.
Of course, the timings aren’t legitimately exact anyway, but WWE has always claimed 90 seconds for a number of years now, so two minutes is a change.
The women’s Royal Rumble 2025 is currently underway with IYO SKY entering at number one and Liv Morgan at number two.
The match remains in progress at this time with the third entrant being the first ‘surprise’ of the night, the unannounced Roxanne Perez from NXT.
