In this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer notes that Marty Scurll going to WWE or NXT is not likely to happen. Scurll’s contract is up on November 30, 2019.
Even though Scurll lives in Florida and could be a top star in NXT immediately, he could NXT seems like the least likely destination, according to Dave Meltzer.
Meltzer reports that Scurll is deciding between two promotions. Most everyone considers Marty Scurll to AEW a lock at this point. If hints on BTE are to believed, then maybe it is happening.
On the other hand, Meltzer is reporting Marty Scurll is also very interested in working for New Japan. If he signs with NJPW that would mean he would still be working with ROH.
However, he would be NJPW first and would be working more dates with NJPW than ROH.
Wherever Marty ends up he may be bringing Villain Club with him. Marty owns the trademark of Villain Club.

If he turns up in either NJPW or AEW we could see the formation of a Villain Club. Of course, PCO and others in ROH are also reported to be close to the end of their deals.
Where will Marty wind up? November 30 isn’t that far away. Could we see him at Wrestle Kingdom? Or will we see him show up on AEW Dynamite in early December?
