Rumor: WWE Responds To Sin Cara’s Release Request

It was reported today, WWE Raw Superstar, Sin Cara has asked for his release.  Sin Cara is currently on tour in Europe with WWE.

He has been losing matches to Andrade on the tour.  Sin Cara has also lost to the combination of Zelina Vega and Andrade on two Raws recently.

Andrade poked some fun at the luchador’s request on Twitter today.  Even though it appears Andrade is trying to use this for storyline fodder, this is not a storyline request.

Sin Cara has been rumored to be interested in working for the Combate Americas MMA promotion.  This is the same promotion where Alberto El Patron is working.

However, it now circulating that WWE has no plans to release Sin Cara.  Sin Cara supposedly has 3 years left on his deal.

Unlike other superstars who have asked for his release, it doesn’t appear Sin Cara will get a 3-week push either.  Originally, the plans were for Sin Cara to continue to wrestle on TV once WWE returns from its overseas tour.

However, Sin Cara will be traveling home instead of continuing on to Boston next week.

I guess the masked superstar can change his name to Sin Lanzamiento because a face isn’t going to be the only thing he’s not getting.
