It appears that either Seth Rollins or Bray Wyatt suffered a concussion during their infamous match at Hell in a Cell this past weekend.
Neither Rollins or Wyatt appeared on Raw on Monday, but Wyatt was able to make an appearance after the show, attacking Cesaro with the mandible claw, despite it being reported that he hadn’t been cleared to compete due to injury.
There was no report that Rollins suffered any kind of injury, so it isn’t exactly clear who would have suffered a concussion.
However, while speaking about the match and his reaction to the loud AEW chants that rang through the arena, AEW Vice President Cody Rhodes said that someone in the match had suffered a concussion.
Rhodes would of course have a good level of insider knowledge about injuries within WWE, being close friends with a number of its wrestlers, so its pretty safe to believe that what he said is true.
Given the spots that took place during the match, you would be inclined to say that Wyatt is much more likely to have received some kind of head injury, but we will await official confirmation.
WWE has not yet advertised either man for next week’s Raw, so we will see how long they are kept off TV following the disastrous events at Hell in a Cell.
