At Crown Jewel, Seth Rollins dropped the Universal Championship at The Fiend Bray Wyatt in a Falls Count Anywhere match. As a result, Wyatt will be taking the title with him to Friday Night Smackdown.
This left Raw without a main event singles championship. However, with Brock Lesnar quitting Smackdown on last night’s show, some have speculated that he will be confirmed as a Raw star next week.
With the Universal Championship seemingly now Smackdown’s top championship, it has been rumoured a new look belt will be unveiled in the coming days/weeks.
The Universal Championship was unveiled at SummerSlam 2016 and was given a red colour scheme to signify that it was the red brand’s top championship.
However, some have said that now the belt is on Smackdown, the red colour scheme needs to go.
Back in March, AJ Styles held up an awesome blue version of the Universal Championship at a live event. It has been rumoured that WWE could make a belt with a similar look and give it to Bray Wyatt.
Wyatt has even taken to Twitter to tease a new look championship, and it is a big improvement on the current Universal Championship design.

The Universal Championship design often divides opinion, so FOX and WWE might decide to change up the look and give the fans something different.
It is important to note that at this point, this is merely speculation. Stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for the latest
