Yesterday it was heavily speculated that Thunder Rosa had dropped thew NWA Women’s Championship to Serena Deeb to facilitate a move for her to WWE. This comes after it was reported that both WWE and AEW were interested in signing her.
However, Billy Corgan has revealed on Instagram that Thunder Rosa ISN’T leaving NWA anytime soon. He noted that the former champion will be staying with the promotion until next year, at the very least. (Screenshot from @BrandonMcCull20)
In his Instagram post, Billy Corgan is likely referencing Dave Meltzer when he suggests that the person publishing the initial report didn’t reach out to him to check on the legitimacy of the story. Meltzer was the person to report that both WWE and AEW are interested in Thunder Rosa.
Despite Billy Corgan’s Instagram story post. Thunder Rosa seemingly teased that she could be on the move on Twitter yesterday. The MMA star certainly didn’t shut down staying with NWA, moving to WWE or doing more work with AEW.
Hey everyone if you were wondering?????🤔🧐 pic.twitter.com/xTTvh40pv5
