Hiroshi Tanahashi stepped through the Forbidden Door on last night’s AEW Dynamite show, challenging AEW World Champion CM Punk to a match at the upcoming show.
Shortly after the show, a rumour arose per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada was slated to face off against former-AEW World Champion Adam Page on the show.
However, that may not be the case, as Wrestling Observer tweeted out a correction to the story earlier today, claiming that the card is being kept a secret.
They said:
Per @davemeltzerWON, his WOR note last night that Hangman Page vs. Okada was tabbed for Forbidden Door based on a lineup he had seen was incorrect. That match is not planned for the PPV as the lineup is being kept a secret. ^JN
