RUMOUR: New Day To Be Separated In WWE Draft

It was reported last month that there was an idea to split up the New Day in the WWE Draft. The report stated that the idea had been turned down, but it was an interesting nugget at the time. Now, it seems like this idea might have legs after all.

As speculation ramps up ahead of the WWE Draft, the highly reputable WrestleVotes Twitter account has posted a gif of Vince McMahon with a surprised reaction in response to their initial report. They say if there is smoke there is fire but we will see.

The original report had Kofi Kingston returning to the Raw brand. The New Day had been together on Raw until moving to SmackDown in 2017. They have been there as a group since. This also meant that Big E would remain on SmackDown and Xavier Woods would appear on both shows.

Of course, this should be considered speculation until something more concrete comes out. However, it is worth mentioning that WrestleVotes has a proven track record and likely wouldn’t tweet something like this if they had not heard anything.

It was also reported earlier today that a number of huge draft moves would be made tonight with a few of them being leaked. You can read those spoilers here.
