Rumour On Big Title Change Plans For WWE Payback

With WWE Payback taking place tomorrow night, rumours are circulating regarding possible title changes that could take place on the show.

As noted by Cageside Seats, it’s expected that we’ll see multiple title changes during tomorrow night’s event.

Now as of this writing, there are only three title matches confirmed, which are:

• “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt (c) vs. Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns – Universal Championship
• Apollo Crews (c) vs. Bobby Lashley – United States Championship
• Bayley & Sasha Banks (c) vs. Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler – Women’s Tag Team Championship

Wyatt only just won the title from Strowman this past Sunday at SummerSlam, but Reigns’ alignment with Paul Heyman, and the company wanting to position him as the top heel on the brand, could open the door for a quick turnaround.

Crews vs Lashley is one that could go either way, but the women’s tag is also interesting. The split of Bayley and Banks is obviously being teased, but it’s also been made clear Jax and Baszler aren’t pals either, so what gives?
