Rumour: Paige To Make In-Ring Return?

Let’s start this off by saying this is nothing other than a rumor, and this is something I want to be very clear on before you take this as an actual report.

There are currently whispers going around the wrestling community, first reported by Cagesideseats, that WWE star Paige, who was last year forced into an early retirement due to injury, could be making some kind of in-ring return.

The former NXT Women’s and Divas Champion returned to Raw this past week and was attacked by Asuka, and while this was not a particularly physical attack, some now believe that this was a way of setting up a further altercation between the two further down the line.

I mean, it’s kind of written in the stars that she will return. She’s a former champion who was forced into early retirement who then became SmackDown General Manager…so basically she’s Daniel Bryan.

Like I said before, this is just a rumour and there has been no official word from anyone as of right now, but to suddenly bring her back for seemingly no reason could suggest bigger plans for the future.

You can’t expect her to get a face full of green saliva and just forget about it, can you?
