It is being suggested that Roman Reigns still may not be at 100% having returned to WWE in February following several months out being treated for Leukaemia.
Tom Colohue, a contributor for PWTorch and PWInsider, is reporting that his source within WWE has told him Roman is not fully fit and that the company is still having to protect him in matches.
From a #WWE source:
“Roman still isn’t back full time completely. He wanted to be back straight away but WWE are happy to have him protected in tag matches or short matches spread out and big media appearances.”
— Tom Colohue (@Colohue) July 20, 2019
There’s a fair amount of evidence to suggest that Colohue’s report is accurate, as Roman Reigns has had limited in-ring segments, and didn’t appear on SmackDown Live for over a month.
Most of his matches have been multi-man matches which would suggest that WWE is trying to limit how many bumps he takes.
Despite this, there is nothing to suggest that Roman will require any further time off. If the report is accurate, hopefully Roman is being given enough time to continue his recovery.
