During NXT’s invasion of Friday Night Smackdown last week, former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa challenged and subsequently defeated The Miz.
Following on from this, Tommaso Ciampa has seemingly turned his attentions to another former WWE Champion in the form of Roman Reigns.
Over the last few days, Tommaso Ciampa and Roman Reigns have been trash-talking one another on Twitter. This came after Roman Reigns took issue with the NXT stars invading “his yard”.

Some have speculated that this could be part of a storyline to have Roman Reigns and Tommaso Ciampa go head-to-head at Survivor Series.
The prospect of Ciampa and Reigns going one-on-one at the pay-per-view later this month is certainly mouth-watering. As two of the biggest stars on their respective brands, the pair could certainly put on a show-stealer clash.
At this point, this is merely speculation, and there is no word on if this is WWE’s current plan right now. Stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for the latest.
Although we might not get Roman Reigns vs. Tommaso Ciampa at Survivor Series, it has been rumoured that we will see another former Shield man in Seth Rollins take on an NXT star tonight on Raw.
