Rumour: When Will Retribution Be Unmasked?

Following last night’s Raw, a report from POST Wrestling seems to have confirmed what we could see with our own eyes: the identities of the members of RETRIBUTION.

As many of us are blessed with eyeballs, we could quite clearly see that five of the members of the group are Dominik Dijakovic, Dio Maddin, Shane Thorne, Mia Yim and Mercedes Martinez.

Dave Meltzer has since backed this report up, but if Sportskeeda’s Tom Colohue is to be believed, the group won’t be revealing their identities until close to Survivor Series at the end of November…even though we already know who they are.

Of course this is WWE, and keeping them masked could allow the company to make changes and pretend it was always supposed to be like that. It hasn’t been one of the most inspiring debuts for a new faction in recent years, and it hasn’t helped that there are no fans to react to their shenanigans.

The general social media reaction has been pretty negative, with the group receiving more go away heat than actual heel heat, but perhaps that will change by the time Survivor Series comes around.
