It was recently reported by WrestleVotes that WWE was planning on introducing some new title belt designs, one of which we have already seen in the form of a blue Universal Championship now that the belt is on SmackDown.
The key to the tweet however was that “titles” is a plural, meaning we are going to be getting more than just the one redesign.
Here is the original tweet:
Big night for titles. Hearing 2 redesigns are complete and both have a real good shot at debuting tonight on SmackDown.
Ones a bit more obvious than the other, considering the colors of both shows. Hint hint.

WrestleVotes has an excellent record of reporting backstage news, so there is every reason to believe that multiple belts are getting a redesign.
The most obvious belt to change would be the tag belts, as they’re probably the least liked of all the current WWE belts, and the United States and Intercontinental Championship belts seem too classic to be changed.
One rumour that is currently going around is that WWE will choose this Sunday’s Survivor Series show to unveil the new belt design, so look out for that this weekend.
Which belt would you like to see get a redesign? Let us know in the comments.
