Over the last few weeks on Monday Night Raw, we’ve seen Dominik Mysterio have a series of great matches with Murphy and Seth Rollins. He has really been pushed as a top babyface since his SummerSlam debut.
However, it seems like WWE may also have plans for another of Rey Mysterio’s children, as some have speculated that WWE is teasing a romance angle between Aalyah Mysterio and the aforementioned Murphy.
WrestlingNews.co had the following to say about the rumour that WWE is building towards something with Aalyah Mysterio and former Raw Tag Team Champion Murphy:
Immediately after, Angie and Rey went into the ring to check on Dominik and Aalyah did too but not before crouching down to put her hand on Murphy’s shoulder to show compassion for him after the beating he took from Rollins. It certainly looks like a tease for a romance storyline with Aalyah and Murphy getting together.
It also looks like the storyline between the Mysterio family and Rollins will continue with an added twist. Check out the clip below of Aalyah going up to Murphy after he was brutally attacked by Rollins.
