Rumour: WWE Raw Star To Return To NXT This Week

On last week’s episode of NXT TV, WWE began airing a hype package to promote the return of a former NXT Champion at the TakeOver 31 show that is scheduled to take place this weekend.

On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer speculated that the person returning to NXT this weekend will likely be Bo Dallas or Robert Roode, both of whom are former NXT Champions:

“Maybe [Robert Roode] is gonna be the guy who shows up in NXT next Sunday? I mean I figure it’s going to be Bobby Roode or Bo Dallas.”

It would certainly make sense if Robert Roode is returning to NXT, as WrestleVotes reported earlier this week that the former United States Champion was preparing for a return to TV over the next few weeks. You can read more about that by clicking here.

While Robert Roode and Bo Dallas have been the most heavily speculated names, someone else that has been rumoured for a return to the black and gold brand is former NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon.

Never in the video package that aired on last week’s show did it specify that the person returning to NXT would be a man, so it is entirely possible that we could see Ember Moon back at Full Sail for TakeOver this weekend too.
