Jake Atlas, Mercedes Martinez and several other independent stars were announced in the latest batch of Performance Center recruits just a few weeks ago, but WWE seemingly hasn’t stopped snapping up the best wrestlers not signed to a major promotion.
Casey Michael of Squared Circle Sirens is reporting on Twitter that WWE has allegedly signed Timothy Thatcher to a deal. Michael goes on to add that he was at the WWE Performance Center yesterday when the rest of the new talent started.

For those who aren’t aware, Thatcher is an immensely talented independent wrestler who has worked for the likes of wXw, Rev Pro and PWG. Thatcher is also the longest-reigning EVOLVE Champion in history.
Timothy Thatcher is a former Ringkampf stablemate of NXT UK stars Marcel Barthel and WALTER, both of whom are now part of Imperium. There is no word on if WWE is planning on adding Thatcher to the group.
