Rumour: WWE Star Suffers Dislocated Shoulder During Raw Match

Last night during Monday Night Raw, Asuka defended her Raw Women’s Championship against veteran Mickie James. Many people were excited for the match before the show, but its finish left many confused.

While in the Asuka Lock, Mickie James didn’t appear to tap out, but the referee called for the bell anyway. The ring announcer then stated that Mickie James was no longer “able to continue”, explaining why he called the match.

Taking to Twitter, former WWE stars Lance Storm and Mick Foley have commented on the issue. storm noted that he think the referee said that James’ “shoulder popped out”. This would explain why he chose to end the match.

Lance Storm: Hope @MickieJames is okay. I think the ref said her shoulder popped out. #RAW

Mick Foley: I’m hearing that @MickieJames may have injured her shoulder in tonight’s #Raw match – which would explain the quick ending to the match. If true, I’m wishing Mickie a quick and complete recovery…and hoping she gets another shot at the title.
